• Photos you choose to upload for AI food scanning

• To provide AI-powered meal analysis through the Anthropic API
• To display your nutrition history and progress

Data Storage

All your personal data — including your food logs, goals and profile — is stored locally on your device only. We do not store your personal data on our servers. We do not sell, rent or share your personal data with third parties for marketing purposes.

Third-Party Services

• Anthropic API — processes your meal descriptions and food photos to provide AI calorie estimates. Food data is sent to Anthropic's servers for processing. See anthropic.com/privacy

Children's Privacy

BiteWise is not directed at children under the age of 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13.
